Raymond Wong Shu Yoon
Mr. Raymond Wong has over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry (both locally and in London) and has held several key management positions in various insurance, insurance broking and reinsurance companies. He started his career in Marketing with The American Malaysian Insurance in 1979 and left for London to study Law in 1983. In 1985, Mr. Raymond Wong joined Citicorp Insurance Brokers, London as an overseas officer whereby he was exposed to the Lloyds market. In 1987, he was transferred back to Malaysia to identify and set up the Citicorp insurance brokers locally. Mr. Raymond Wong was appointed the General Manager and Principal Officer of Innovest Citicorp Insurance Broker Sdn Bhd in 1988 upon approval of its broking licence by Bank Negara Malaysia. Thereafter, Mr. Raymond Wong continued his career as Chief Executive Officer/Principal Officer in Paramount Assurance Berhad, MMI Insurance Labuan Ltd, Catlin Labuan Limited, XL Catlin Labuan, AXAXL Insurance Labuan, Asia Capital Reinsurance Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Asia Capital Retakaful Berhad before his retirement in November 2021. Mr. Raymond Wong was Board Director of Labuan International Business and Financial Centre, Catlin Labuan Limited, Malaysia National Reinsurance Berhad and Paramount Assurance Berhad.
Johan Lam Chung Yin
Johan Lam has 30 years of experience in the financial sector in Asia and North America. He is currently the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief of Staff, at Ageas Asia where his responsibilities include providing supervision into the Asia regional office’s Operations, IT, Branding, Marketing and Communications, and Corporate Planning and Services. Johan has also worked closely with the CEO of Asia on new market entries and M&A transactions in the Asia region. Currently, he assists the CEO in partnership management across Asia and special projects assigned by Ageas Group. Johan is an Ageas Asia Management Committee member and an Ageas Asia Services Limited Executive Director. He is also a Non‐Executive Director of Etiqa Life Insurance (Labuan) Ltd and Etiqa Offshore Insurance (Labuan) Ltd, which are Ageas’s joint venture in Malaysia. Johan is a Hong Kong Permanent Resident and a Canadian citizen. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University, Canada, double majors in Business Administration and Economics and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
Amierah Ratna Binting
Principal Officer
Ms Amierah Ratna Binting has been appointed as the Principal Officer of Etiqa Offshore Insurance (L) Ltd, effective 1 June 2025. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in the Labuan insurance and takaful industry.
Ms Amierah holds a postgraduate qualification in finance and has completed a range of professional programmes in compliance, risk management, and Islamic finance, including a Certificate in Shariah Advisor and Auditor.
Throughout her career, she has undertaken key responsibilities in internal audit, compliance, risk governance, and regulatory engagement. Her expertise spans both conventional and Islamic financial sectors. She is also an active associate member of the Asian Institute of Insurance and a member of the Malaysian Young Shariah Scholars Association.
Her appointment underscores the company’s commitment to strong leadership, regulatory excellence, and a client-centred approach. In her role as Principal Officer, she oversees day-to-day operations and ensures full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Roslina Mohd Ramza
Compliance
Roslina Mohd Ramza holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, and has over 20 years’ experience in legal and compliance roles across the insurance, takaful, and banking sectors.
She is currently the Compliance Officer of EOIL and the Chief Compliance Officer of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad, where she leads group-wide compliance strategies, regulatory engagement, and governance initiatives. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Legal Counsel at Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad, advising on regulatory, operational, and corporate legal matters across both life/family insurance and general insurance/takaful businesses.
Roslina began her legal career as a practising lawyer, having trained and practised in medium-sized law firms. She subsequently transitioned in-house, taking on legal roles within the investment and banking sectors, before progressing into senior legal leadership positions in the takaful and insurance industry.
Idzuddin Zakaria
General Manager
Leads the company’s Business Development strategy and oversees marketing initiatives for Etiqa Offshore Insurance (L) Ltd. He also supervises the client servicing team, ensuring we maintain a high standard of deliverables to our clients.
He has more than 25 years of experience in various sectors of the Insurance industry, from underwriting, insurance broking and reinsurance prior to joining Etiqa Offshore.
Ahmad Anas Fadzil
Shariah Advisor
Ahmad Anas Fadzil (CSAA, CIPA) is a registered Shariah Advisor with the Securities Commission Malaysia and a professional accountant by training, currently based in Kuala Lumpur. He advises Islamic financial institutions, regulators and corporations globally on Shariah-compliant products, instruments and related strategic matters.
Previously, he served as Project Accountant in Türkiye for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Water Supply Project, overseeing project financing, budgeting, cost management, reporting and liaison with local authorities. Prior to that, he was an external auditor with Ernst & Young Kuala Lumpur, attached to the Global Financial Services practice, where he audited financial institutions including Permodalan Nasional Berhad, Malayan Banking Berhad, EXIM Bank Berhad, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and Malaysian Electronic Payment Systems.
He holds the Certified Shariah Adviser and Auditor (CSAA) and Certified Islamic Professional Accountant (CIPA) qualifications from AAOIFI, a Master of Science in Islamic Finance from INCEIF, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from UiTM, and an Executive Diploma in Shariah from UMCCed. He is fluent in Bahasa Melayu, English, Arabic and Turkish.
Chock Siew Fung
Finance & Administration
Chock Siew Fung has over 20 years of extensive experience in accounting, auditing, administration, and quality management. She is a Member of The Malaysian Insurance Institute.
Prior to joining Etiqa, she was the Head of Finance of IOI Edible Oils Sdn Bhd (Palm Oil Refinery) for 10 years in the Human Resources and Administrative Department.
Norzainab Zaini
Internal Audit
Norzainab Zaini graduated with a bachelor in accountancy (Honors) and a Certificate of Insurance from the Malaysian Insurance Institute. She is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and The Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII).
She has nearly 20 years of experience handling diverse portfolios of clients from reinsurance, brokers, and captives, each with a different background. She majors in finance and accounting, budget and cash flow forecast/projections and treasury.
