En. Mohd Din was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Etiqa International Holdings Sdn. Bhd. on 1 January 2026.

He also serves as a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad.

En. Mohd Din holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada and is an Associate of The Malaysian Insurance Institute since 1991.

With more than four decades of experience spanning life and general insurance, family and general takaful, reinsurance, and retakaful, En. Mohd Din brings a wealth of industry expertise. His career includes leadership roles as Principal Officer of SCOR Switzerland Ltd. (formerly Converium Ltd.) – Labuan Branch, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Etiqa Insurance Berhad (now known as Etiqa General Insurance Berhad (EGIB)) and as President & Group CEO of MNRB Holdings Berhad.

Within the Maybank Group, Encik Mohd Din serves as a Chairman of Etiqa General Takaful Berhad, Etiqa General Insurance Berhad and Etiqa Life and General Assurance Philippines, Inc. He sits on the Board of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad and Etiqa General Insurance (Cambodia) Plc.
