Cik Che Zakiah Che Din was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Etiqa International Holdings Sdn. Bhd. on 1 June 2024.

She holds a Degree of Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Malaya.
Cik Che Zakiah boasts over 30 years of distinguished service at Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”). She began her career at BNM in 1982, and has held various positions across banking supervision, regulations and enforcement. In 2002, she played a key role in overseeing the enforcement of the Development of Financial Institution Act as a Director of the department, and later led the Financial Conglomerates Supervision Department in 2004 until her retirement in 2017.
On directorships, Cik Che Zakiah is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Malayan Banking Berhad, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, Maybank International Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Maybank Securities Limited and Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad.
