Cik Nora Junita Mohd Hussaini was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Etiqa General Takaful Berhad on 1 July 2024. She also serves as the member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad.

Cik Nora Junita holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Malaysia.

Cik Nora Junita’s career began in London with Richard Anthony & Company before she returned to Malaysia in 2002 for roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Shell. She assumed the role of Assistant General Manager and Consultant, Expert Support Group at TM International in 2005. Cik Nora Junita was appointed as the CFO of Robi Axiata Limited (formerly TM International Bangladesh) in 2007. She then joined Axiata Group Bhd as Vice President and Head of Group Treasury and Investor Relations, before leading the financial and corporate services functions of Packet One Networks, Webe Digital, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, MYSJ, and others between 2012 and 2023.

Cik Nora Junita previously served on the boards of Beejaq Sdn. Bhd., Mobile Telecommunications Company of Esfahan, Iran (MTCE), Green Packet Berhad (2020-2021) and Payment Networks Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (2021-2024). She is currently a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Agrow Builders Sdn. Bhd. and an advisor to the Group Audit Committee of Payment Networks Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
