Cik Che Zakiah Che Din was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad on 1 July 2024. She also serves as the Chairperson of Nomination and Remuneration Committee of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad.

She holds a Degree of Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Malaya.

Cik Che Zakiah boasts over 30 years of distinguished service at Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”). She began her career at BNM in 1982, and has held various positions across banking supervision, regulations and enforcement. In 2002, she played a key role in overseeing the enforcement of the Development of Financial Institution Act as a Director of the department, and later led the Financial Conglomerates Supervision Department in 2004 until her retirement in 2017.

On directorships, Cik Che Zakiah is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Malayan Banking Berhad, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, Maybank International Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Maybank Securities Limited and Etiqa International Holdings Sdn. Bhd.
