Puan Fauziah was appointed as a Director of Etiqa International Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (“EIH”) on 1 October 2021 and subsequently she was appointed as the Chairperson of EIH on 1 July 2024.

Puan Fauziah is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Governance Institute, United Kingdom and a Qualified Risk Director of the Institute of Enterprise Risk Practitioners.

She has over 30 years of banking experience having served in senior management and leadership roles in J.P. Morgan Chase, Standard Chartered Bank and Australia & New Zealand Banking Group in Malaysia including serving as the Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank Berhad from 2002 to 2006. Post her retirement from Australia & New Zealand Banking Group, she was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank Berhad from January 2015 before stepping down to join the board of Malayan Banking Berhad (“Maybank”) in May 2018.

Within Maybank Group, Puan Fauziah also sits on the Board of Maybank, and is the Chairperson of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad and Etiqa Insurance Pte. Ltd. In addition, she also serves as the Chairperson of Credit Review Committee, a member of Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Audit Committee of the Board and Risk Management Committee of Maybank. Puan Fauziah was the Chairperson of Maybank Philippines Inc. from April 2019 to March 2024.

Besides Maybank Group, Puan Fauziah also sits on the board of Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit, an agency of Bank Negara Malaysia.
