En. Mohd Amri was appointed as an Executive Director of Etiqa General Takaful Berhad (EGTB) on 1 December 2025.

En. Mohd Amri is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), holding a Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and active membership in the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Banker programme with The Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB).

En. Mohd Amri is a seasoned professional in the financial services industry, with a long track record of expertise spanning financial reporting, strategic planning, credit analysis, treasury management, investment, corporate finance, audit and more. En. Mohd Amri is currently the Group Financial Controller of Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank), appointed effective 1 October 2023 and as Head of Group Performance Reporting, Group Finance effective 1 November 2025. In this critical role, he assumes the responsibility of ensuring the financial well-being of Maybank, steering well-informed decision-making and ensuring adherence to financial regulations, covering financial reporting, regulatory reporting, accounting, strategic procurement and treasury product control.

Within the Maybank Group, En. Mohd Amri sits on the boards of MBB Labs Private Limited, Maybank Alliances Sdn. Bhd., BPK Nominees Sdn. Bhd., Cekap Mentari Berhad, Maybank Offshore Corporate Services (Labuan) Sdn. Bhd., Maybank Allied Berhad, BPK Credit & Leasing Sdn. Bhd., Maybank International Trust (Labuan) Berhad, Dourado Tora Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and P.T. Prosperindo.
