Mr. Glenn Williams was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director and Vice Chairman of Maybank Ageas Holding Berhad on 1 July 2025. He was also appointed as a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee of the Board of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad on 1 July 2025.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Mathematics and Economics from Loughborough University of Technology, United Kingdom (UK). He is also a Fellow member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.

Mr. Glenn Williams has 30 years of experience in the life insurance and reinsurance industry, with the last 25 years based in Asia leading various business transformations. He has held a range of high-level executives’ roles over the last 20 years, including 10 years in Chief Executive Officer (CEO) roles in Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong and India.

Mr. Glenn Williams started his career as Student Actuary with The Guardian Assurance Company, London & Lancashire, UK (a life and fire insurance company) in October 1992 and subsequently with The Mercantile & General Reinsurance Company Ltd, UK in April 1995. In April 1997, Mr. Glenn Williams joined Swiss Re Life & Health Limited, UK as Pricing Actuary responsible for setting terms of trade for all lines of business in Israel and Turkey. Thereafter, he undertook the role of Marketing Actuary of Swiss Re Life & Health Limited, Hong Kong for more than 2 years until June 2002.

Mr. Glenn Williams continued his career with AXA Group from July 2002 to August 2016. During his 14 years long career at AXA Group, Mr. Glenn Williams held various Senior Management positions in regional entities of AXA Group in Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong and India. His last position with AXA Group was the CEO of AXA Life Insurance Singapore Pte. Ltd., whereby his key role was to turn around the business both in terms of profitability and execution of a transformation growth strategy.

In September 2016, Mr. Glenn Williams was appointed as Group CEO of IP Global Ltd, Hong Kong (a global company involved in property investment services). Thereafter, Mr. Glenn Williams went on sabbatical leave from October 2018 to July 2019.

In August 2019, Mr. Glenn Williams joined as the Chief Financial and Risk Officer of East West Ageas Life Insurance Corporation, Philippines (EWA) supporting the new CEO to turn around business and improve execution of key change initiatives whilst reducing cost to support profitable business growth. In January 2022, Mr. Glenn Williams undertook the President and CEO role until November 2022 to continue the business transformation for EWA. Thereafter, Mr. Glenn Williams was assigned to manage Asia special projects in December 2022.

Mr. Glenn Williams was then appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Ageas Asia Services Limited, Hong Kong (Ageas Asia) from June 2023 to November 2024 before he took on the role as the Chief Operating Officer of Ageas Asia effective December 2024.

Currently, Mr. Glenn Williams sits on the boards of Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited and Ageas Asia.
